Concrete Outdoor Side Table Made From Pavers

Did you catch my post a few weeks (or months, I can’t remember!) ago about the outdoor coffee table I made using 2×2 and pavers?

She’s a real beat. But see that matching side table? Just like happy little trees need friends, happy little coffee tables need friends, too. So I made a concrete paver outdoor side table.

Okay, I really just needed a home for more flowers and cacti and citronella candles. (If you want to check out the entire backyard, you can do so here.)

I was particularly excited about this side table because I’m a sucker for sets, and it really complemented our coffee table. Some people might even say it looks magazine worthy. (That person is my mom.)

Like the coffee table, this concrete paver side table is also a fairly easy build. It uses pocket hole joinery, which I’m a huge fan of since it leaves you with such a clean-looking piece. No screws! And it’s strong, which is important when you’re building furniture that gets a lot of use. I used my KregJig for this project. (Wanna see more? I’m linking more projects that use pocket hold joinery at the end of this post!)

Another reason I am super excited about these build plans is that it’s the first one I’ve shared using SketchUp! I have wanted to learn this software for a while, and I think it will make my future plans easier to follow. Looks fancy, right? I’m excited to do some more plans and learn more about SketchUp’s functionality.
