- ThermoPro Digital Hygrometer/Thermometer—I have had this for years and use it to monitor temperature and humidity levels around sensitive plants.
- Stackable plant support poles—I love that you can add onto these as plants grow; I use them for my large monstera and philodendron.
- Stretchy vinyl plant tape—Excellent way to help train climbing plants or tie large plants to support poles.
- Clonex Rooting Gel—Great boost to help root growth along when propagating plants.
GARDENING
Fertilizers & Pest Control
- Organic Leaf Compost—I purchase Leafgro bags locally, but your local garden center likely has a similar locally sourced option.
- FoxFarm Grow Big Liquid Concentrate—Delivers a full spectrum of micro nutrients that plants need. I use this roughly once a month during the growing season.
- Horticultural-Grade vinegar—I use this to spot treat weeds; it’s extremely effective but also very caustic, so use with personal protection and care.
- Harris Diatomaceous Earth (Food Grade)—An excellent choice for pest issues in the vegetable garden especially.

- Seed organizer with case—This helps me keep everything organized, clean, and dry from year to year.
- 10-Pack Seed Starter Trays—I have used these for years. They are easily to clean and store for multiple growing seasons.
- RTS Home Accents 50 Gallon Rain Barrels—We have three of these rain barrels that we daisy-chained together and use to feed our solar-powered irrigation system.
- Miracle-Gro Dual-Chamber Compost Tumbler—Great for compact spaces.

DIY SUPPLIES
Painting
- Frogtape—By far my preferred painter’s tape for getting the cleanest lines.
- Oil-Based Metallic Paint Makers—Excellent vivid colors that are great for smaller projects.
- Acrylic Paint Pens, Dual Tip—I got these for my daughter and ended up highjacking them. They are so handy for a variety of projects.
- Chip brushes—My go-to choice for many oil-based paints and finishes so I can chuck the brush afterward.
- Minwax Polycrylic Water-Based Finish—The water base means it doesn’t smell, it’s easy to apply, and it cures to a very durable finish.
Laser Cutting & Engraving
- xTool M1 diode laser machine—An excellent starter machine gifted to me, this was my first laser cutting and engraving machine.
- xTool P2 CO2 laser machine—An absolute workhorse of a machine that can do just about anything! I love it for larger projects and working with acrylic (it was also gifted to me).
- GF Materials and The Blank Wooden Canva—Excellent sources of basswood, balsa wood, and chipboard.
- 20-Pack Round Cork Coasters—I love engraving these on my xTool M1.
- Ikea Ostbit Bamboo Tray—In my experience, these engrave beautifully and are cheap!
- Vector Painter—I have purchased and cut many files from this shop. They are affordable and cut beautifully.
- ST Laser Design Art—Another great shop I’ve purchased laser cut files from and recommend.

- Smartstand Hairpin Legs—I have purchased hairpin legs from this seller multiple times in different heights for DIY projects.
- Environmental Technology Resin—I have used many brands of resin, and I prefer this one for its ease of use and crystal clear finish.
- Wagner SprayTech Furno 500 Heat Gun—I mostly use this for resin, but it has a variety of applications for DIY projects and home repairs.
WOODWORKING
- DEWALT 20V MAX Orbital Sander—After years of using a corded sander, I finally upgraded to a battery-operated one.
- Black and Decker Corded Orbital Sander—I used this sander for years before going to a cordless version.
- RIDGID 18V Brushless Sub Compact 1/2 in. Drill—Reliable and gets the job done!
- DEWALT 20V MAX Cordless Wet-Dry Vac—Super handy to have a cordless wet-dry vac. We use this all around the house.
- Ryobi 7 1/4″ Miter Saw—We’ve upgraded to a larger saw, but we had this one for years and recommend it as a great starter miter saw.
- Any KregJigs—I use pocket hole joinery for most of my projects and love all of their products!
HOME FINDS
- SAMSUNG The Frame Smart TV—Absolutely a spluge to purchase this…just look at it above our fireplace! So worth it when your TV placement is limited.
- Deco TV Frame—We got this frame for our Samsung “the frame” TV and it looks amazing.
- SMART TILES Peel and Stick Backsplash—We have had these in our kitchen for multiple years and have been extremely impress with how they’ve held up.
