Happy New Year, all! I’m already working on some plans to make 2019 the best year yet and hope you are too. I’m just popping in today to share your favorite projects from 2018—the top 10. If you missed any of them, definitely check them out! Some of my personal favorites from the year are in here (5 and 1 are up there…but I love them all).
Let’s take a look!
This was a pretty simple project when it came down to it! The staining and finishing was the most time-consuming process, but assembling it was quick. The before and after is a huge difference, too!
These were so simple to make, yet they were so cute. Maybe that’s why they were so popular!
I made this table out of scrap wood we had in the garage. I hate seeing scraps go to waste, and this was the perfect practical project. We use this every day, but we did move it to the other side of the couch so Ramona won’t mess with it. 🙂
I loved this one so much that I made a matching side table. Perfect.
My favorite DIY ever. The cat tree made of real branches I originally finished a few years ago is still going strong. I published an update post on the blog this year because the original DIY is my most popular post of all time. What can I say, the Internet loves cats. (And so do I.)
This was a project I completed for Kreg Tool’s DIY Project Plan website. I love working with them, and I loved doing this project. It’s so cute and chic and fits perfectly in the spot I made it for (at grammy’s house).
This was a quick powder room makeover I made as part of my friend Erin’s $100 Room Makeover Challenge. It was picked up for a feature by Apartment Therapy, which was super exciting for me!
We got so much use out of this makeover it wasn’t even funny. If you missed it, you HAVE to check out the before and progress posts. I’m so proud of this space, and we spent a lot of time out here throughout the spring, summer, and fall.
I did not think this post would explode like it did, but who doesn’t love free plants? You’ll never have to buy pothos again after reading this post…which could be bad if you’re a plant hoarder like I am.
Easily one of the projects we’re proudest of, and it’s gotten a lot of use from guests already. We only have two bedrooms, so we love having a flexible space for guests. (This space is also Mike’s office and a pseudo playroom, so we didn’t want a real bed taking up half the room.)
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
