Hey guys! It’s Friday, and we’ve got a big weekend planned…an engagement party for my cousin tomorrow and a birthday party for another cousin on Sunday! I don’t know when I’m going to be able to fit in some project work, but it’s going to happen.
I want to kick off this post by sharing the absolute cutest modern gift tags I got in the mail from Erin and Tess at Revelin Collective. They are adorable, and they do custom gift tags, too.
You can follow Erin and Tess on IG at @revelincollective (they have an adorable feed) and check out their shop here. Also check out their Etsy shop if you’re in the market for custom designs for invitations. Thanks for sharing, ladies!!
What I’ve Been Up To…
I was recently over on Pretty Handy Girl sharing an easy tutorial for a DIY rolling plant caddy. Check it out here!
Making another slightly bigger one with beefier caster wheels is on my to-do list, too. I have a massive yuca plant in an equally as massive pot that I literally cannot move without help. It’s this guy on the left:
I’ve also started sharing room makeover progress for another round of the $100 Room Challenge hosted by Erin at Lemons, Lavender, and Laundry. Working on our tiny laundry nook this round. I’ve pulled down the wire shelf, patched the drywall, painted, and mounted some new shelves that I like better. 🙂 Check out update #1 (before pics, patching, and painting) and update #2 (cheap open shelving using stair treads) if you’d like.
Here’s a peek at the project I’ll share next Wednesday. This DIY cost me under $2. 🙂

- My friend Lindi at Love, Create, Celebrate is remodeling her bathroom! She picked the same faucet for her bathroom that I’ve already been eyeing for mine, so if you’re wondering why we’re friends, it’s because we both have awesome taste.
- This nightstands makeover from Thirty Eighth Street is one of the best furniture makeovers I’ve seen in a while! Love the light wood/black combo.
- This post on creating a beautiful but practical nursery space from Row House Nest. And while we’re talking about nurseries, my friend Chelsea shared a great post on how to create a safe nursery. Some of the tips would be nice for any room of the house…I’m looking at you, blind cord hider thing.
- Everything from Northstory. I love her style and the personality in her writing. I’m waiting for all of my favorite Canadian DIY/home bloggers (there are a lot of them?!) to make me an honorary member of the secret club they surely have.
Have a good weekend!
