Care Guide for the Alocasia Polly

The Alocasia Polly, sometimes called the African mask plant is not a spontaneous growth. This beautiful plant derives from two parent plants.

Polly has beautiful, thick, wavy leaves with bright white veining. This makes her a stunner to add to any home.

When setting up Polly for the day, remember bright indirect light.

This alocasia requires moist but not super wet soil. A well draining soil with coco coir helps a lot.

Polly loves humidity, so if you are planning to take one on; I would invest in a good humidifier.

She is a strong grower, and under proper conditions, you can expect Polly to flourish.

Keep an eye out for yellowing or browning leaves, spider mites, leaf curling, and drooping stems.

Propagate the alocasia through division.

The Alocasia Polly is not pet safe!
