My New Beautiful Abstract Art

Hey all, Happy Saturday! (Or whatever day you’re reading this.) Popping in quickly today to share my new beautiful abstract art with you!

If you caught my recent tiny monochrome powder room makeover, you know I like decorating my home on a budget. But I also like unique finds, and sometimes it can be difficult to do both. (There isn’t really anything unique about my Ikea and Target shopping habits, that is.)

I was recently in my coworker Shannon’s cubical at work and noticed some stunning drawings. She said her 13-year-old daughter Kayla did them, and I was blown away. She has been taking some summer art classes and just has a ton of raw talent. Her style is beautiful. So I asked her if Kayla would do a painting for my bathroom.

I pointed to one drawing in particular that I loved, and she was able to replicate it in a few hours for me. I was amazed! Isn’t it beautiful?

It’s going to go so beautifully in our little powder room, and I’m so honored that she took the time to paint it for us. This kid is going places, folks. I’ll let you know when her Etsy shop opens up 😉 She has another collection she is working on right now of profile shots of women in all different skin tones with crowns on. I haven’t even seen it yet, but I already know I need it.

And since I was getting some shots of this art while my little camera hog was awake, this happened…
