10 Clever Upcycles and Thrift Store Makeovers
Hey guys, popping in today to share a little roundup of clever upcycles and thrift store makeovers. It features some of my own projects and some of the projects from the other talented At Home DIY participants!
This is a neat and easy DIY you can do on almost any canvas you find at a thrift shop. I’d love to try this project with some of the textured paint I have in my stash.
I made these adorable bookends using ceramic unicorn figurines I found at our local Habitat for Humanity Restore. They’d be perfect for a kids room or nursery.
How adorable is this DIY yarn wall hanging? I love it…and the plant, chair, blanket, and planter!
I snagged these pots at a yard sale and painting them to match my decor. They made the perfect home for these succulents.
I would absolutely kill for this adorable potting bench! You won’t believe what this started off as.
Would I be a craft blogger if I didn’t have at least one wine bottle craft? No. And this one turned out pretty beautiful!
My friend Casey is a cat lady after my own heart, and she made this sweet little basket cat bed that her kitty is modeling here. Honestly, cats love baskets, so you can’t really lose with this DIY.
I don’t usually use bright colors, but when I made over this little retro night stand, I wanted to use a color similar to its original. I think it turned out pretty great!
You will not believe the before of this DIY! It was a lampshade. Pretty unreal. Definitely worth a peek!
I made this cutie hanging planter using a Habitat for Humanity Restore stainless steel bowl. You know I’m always down to make another planter, so this was a no brainer. 🙂
